Education for All (EFA) - in March 1990, the international community put education on the global agenda during the World Conference on Education for All (Jomtien, Thailand) when governments set themselves the challenge of achieving universal primary education by the year 2000. MEDIES - (Mediterranean Education Initiative for Environment & Sustainability), is a network of educators and schools implementing the integrated educational programmes on water, waste, etc. as a vehicle to sustainable development. Projects International (PI) - is a network of educators working to integrate Education for Sustainability (EfS) into English language classrooms around the world.
