double navigation system: because of the sustainable consumption multi-levelled (local/national/international) and multi-dimensional nature (individual/family/community), YXC has developed a double navigation system:
NINE THEMATIC ROOMS: a showcase of case studies. All along the 9 thematic rooms, the navigation follows the evolution from individuals (1st level), individuals & friends/family (2nd level) to the community at large (3rd level). Contents are selected to catch the attention of young people even those not particularly interested/aware on sustainable consumption issues. The table below visualises this structure:
UTILITIES BAR integrates different aspect of life (Education/ Work/Leisure…) and offers more detailed information on economical (e.g. wealth distribution, industry, trade, etc.), environmental (e.g. nature conservation, animal welfare, etc.) and social issues (e.g. basic needs - such as nutrition and education - and other needs – such as culture and tourism). Contents are organised in a more traditional way to be fully understandable/utilisable by both teachers & young people.
