Association for Advancing Low-Cost Mobility (AALOCOM) - is a non-profit organisation based in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. The organisation intends to set-up pilot projects targeting sections of the Tanzanian population, which have been marginalized due to lack of access to affordable means of transport. Critical Mass - first born in San Francisco in 1992, Critical Mass has spread like wildfire across the globe, and now occurs in hundreds of cities in dozens of countries each month. European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) - promotes and encourages cycling in the European countries as an economic, efficient, healthy and environmentally friendly means of transport and recreation. First African Bicycle Information Office (FABIO) – aims to support the users of bicycle in Uganda, especially the professional ones like bicycle-taxi-riders (boda-boda) and transporters of goods. Hepo Helsinki Cyclists - has been established 1981. Noticeable part its activities are the club tours organised regularly on Sundays and Saturdays from mid April until end of October. Italian Federation of Friends of the Bicycle (FIAB) - promotes the use of the bicycle as an environmentally friendly means of transport within an urban context. With the overall aim of improving the quality of life in urban areas, the federation encourages the development of bicycle routes, limitation of automobile traffic, combined bike+mass transit solutions and more. Pedaling.com - is the first website devoted exclusively to providing new route information for and by the biking community. More than one thousand free self guided bike routes throughout the world! San Francisco Bicycle Coalition (SFBC) – founded in 1970, it is one of the oldest bicycle advocacy organisations in the USA. Operated entirely by volunteers for the first several years, it has been dominated by a grassroots volunteer ethic ever since, growing into one of the strongest bicycle advocacy organisations in the country. Swiss Bicycle Advocacy Association - is an independent non-profit organisation with about 20,000 members (Switzerland has about 7 million inhabitants with 4 million bicycles). The Thunderhead Alliance - is the US national coalition of state and local bicycle and pedestrian advocacy organisations working in unison to break down the barriers to safe bicycling walking in North American communities.
